Attention Period 7 Teachers: Yesterday, Rockin’ the Rage wristbands were placed in your mailboxes. If you have not already done so, please distribute these to your students today. Thank you to Guide for providing the wristbands to our students. Please wear them to show your support. Staff will also receive wristbands. Let’s continue Rockin’ the Rage!

National Junior Honor Society-TOMORROW during lunch the National Junior Honor Society will meet in Ms. Hanington’s room 303. So bring your lunch and be on time
PTA Restaurant Night-The PTA is having its first Restaurant Night at the Ledo’s Pizza Restaurant at 19200 Montgomery Village Ave., Montgomery Village on November 1, 2011 from 4-10pm, eat in or carry out. Ledo’s Pizza Restaurant will donate 10% of the total sales that night to the PTA.
SSL-BROOKSIDE GARDENS NEEDS VOLUNTEER HELP FOR THEIR UPCOMING GARDEN OF LIGHTS EXHIBIT, NOVEMBER 25, 2011 – JANUARY 8, 2012. VOLUNTEERS MUST BE 14 OR OLDER, OR 11-13 IF VOLUNTEERING WITH A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.

Student Volunteers serve as Show Monitors and Conservatory Docents. Volunteer shifts are 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm and a minimum commitment of 4 shifts is required.
Training is November 2 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Brookside Gardens Visitor Center Auditorium.

Variety Show-Thanks for all who auditioned for the GMS variety show. The list is posted outside Ms. Stehman’s room 601. If your name is on the list, you must pick up a permission slip in folder outside Ms. Stehman’s room and return it to Ms. Stehman by Tuesday, November 1. Ms. Stehman must have the permission slip in order for you to participate. Also, for those participating, we will have a run through on Wednesday, November 2 after school from 2:45 to 4:00pm.
